Have we had a noon kickoff game for homecoming in the last 20ish years? And now they do this with a Top 5 team traveling on the road in a legitimate upset bid? In favor of a 1-8 FSU team getting slaughtered at 7:30? Wut?
I don’t think tv cares if it’s our HC or not. They see an undefeated team playing a very average at best team without a starting qb. Looking forward to a 0700 wreck parade followed by a 0900 rap concert:). We should get around 35,000 in the seats.

Best chance of winning for us is noon. Low percentage of favored teams cover the spread in noon games. We have to get them off to a slow start and figure out a way to handle the 2nd half onslaught when we tire.

This is assuming we don't come out flat.

The only way I see us having a chance at winning is for King, Jamal Haynes, Efford and the rest of the team to be fully healthy. If King can't go, I don't think we have a chance to beat Miami or uGA - possibly NCST either. You must score points to win a game, and the offense was anemic last week.

I was just talking odds. If you're a betting man & there's no other significant variables, betting the dog in noon games is an above average bet. The bigger the line, the better the bet.

We're about a 2 TD dog. Oddsmakers think this game will not be a blow out. I'm pretty skeptical, but I like our chances better at noon than 8 or 3:30

I hope we have all our key players back. Hate a start a true frosh QB and a back up D playcaller against them.

What does FSU playing on NBC have anything to do with our game? Isn’t their slot locked in?

Also, how would any non-GT fans look at this game as a legitimate upset bid?

Noon kickoff sucks but we've had good luck with kick times this season so far. Expecting a very tame, sleepy, unintimidating Bobby Dodd but I'm open to you guys proving me wrong.
Imma be honest no matter what happens I’ll be shocked if the Dodd is below 40k today.

Miami fans travel well usually and with their success so far it’ll be more than usual.

Homecoming also always brings many older GT fans to the game.

Students have been GREAT this year and I assume they’ll be in full force for the national tv audience.

I am glad for the noon kick. I’ll be able to watch Bama-LSU at night, so I’ll have 2 chances to either be elated or depressed.

Do t spread facts that ND is part of the ABC 7:30 time slot. Being put upon is much more comforting:p

There is probably no actual stat behind this, but doesn’t it feel like Miami is the team we’ve beaten the most when they are a heavy favorite? I feel like they beat us every time it’s sort of a toss up and whenever we’re supposed to win, but we upset them when it feels like we have no shot.
