It's been quite a while, so I thought I'd post again and give an update on the status.

As many of you may already know, I collect Georgia Tech football ticket stubs from all seasons. To date, I have a ticket stub, full ticket, press pass, or student ticket from 748 of Tech's 1218 all-time football games (about 61%). The collection can be viewed at http://georgiatechticketstubs.com.

On the site you will find images of the tickets sorted by season or opponent, many of which are accompanied by game summaries and team statistics fort he contest. You will also find a page that contains images of tickets from bowl games, of which I am only missing one ticket: the 1948 Orange Bowl.

While most of the tickets that I need to complete the collection are from prior to 1960, there are still 54 tickets dating back to the 1960 season that I need, many of which are from away games from 1980 to present. Most of these are from games played at Duke and at North Carolina State.

All of the tickets that I'm currently seeking are listed on the wanted tickets page: http://georgiatechticketstubs.com/wanted-tickets/. If anyone has any of these tickets and is willing to trade, sell, or donate, please shoot me an e-mail at [email protected].

Thanks for reading, and please enjoy the site!

For those that are interested, I did some research at the GT Library archives to see if they had any tickets. They have tons of programs, so I figured they might have tickets included, as many times they are stapled or taped into the pages. I was surprised at how few of these there were, but I was able to locate one gem: a 1913 Georgia Tech vs. Sewanee ticket.

Pretty cool...this was the fourth game ever played at Grant Field!

Oh, I almost forgot. I also started collecting the Tech vs. Georgia Freshman tickets. The game was played annually on Thanksgiving day starting in 1933. Once Freshmen were allowed to play at the varsity level in 1972, the game lost a bit of it's luster. However, it was continued through the '93 season as a "JV" match-up.

The tickets from this series that I need are listed here: http://georgiatechticketstubs.com/other-tickets/wanted-freshmen-tickets/

I went to several JV games in the early 70's. Those were good memories.
