Brothers and sisters it is Gameday!
After a year's worth of travel in just three weeks, The Brave and Bold are back in action in the beautiful confines of Grant Field. A cool September day with the ideal time slot. Just about perfe . . . well not so fast - gonna be a wet morning with a high probability of being wet in the afternoon. Thunderstorms are not out of the question.
But it's Gameday! And you've got tickets - or you can get some, they're really inexpensive. And you're a fan. A Yellow Jacket fan!
So get up and get your gold on. Find your foul weather gear and galoshes. Send an email to a friend you haven't written in a long time. Have a nice lunch there at the house. Then head down to campus and get to your seats. It's Gameday! And hey, maybe there won't be a big backup at the gates today, so we got that going for us.
Too far away? Not feeling well? The Wicked Witch of the West is your first cousin? Go find a spot in front of your favorite big screen as the ACCN has you covered.
Football is played in the rain. Fans watch football in the rain. It is the natural order of things. It's Gameday.
