Confirmed with him that its a ACL injury.

He said he hopes he's not out for the season and thinks he can make it back.

Finch is a stud and Alford was his backup last year so we're returning our 2 deep at center from last year. Also, Beno can play center so we're 3 deep with guys who have lots of games snaps. We're probably deeper and more experienced at center than any other ACC team and that counts Burden being no go.

wow,Cheese,same ole story--BLUE sky
Alford is not getting the job done apparently as there are problems in OL every day ,EVEN with the snap.If Alford is coming in to play in '14 after Finch then losing Burden is a MUCH bigger deal, as he looks weak.

Funny how we didn't see any significant drop in production with Alford in for Finch last year. Maybe the issues with the offense this this spring have to do with multiple factors such as revolving door qb's, revolving door OL's, new installation, etc..

At least I'm consistent.

Got data? Is data vs similar opponents? There should be some drop off, after all, the guy is #2 for a reason. It's also reasonable to expect improvement from that time to now to the season, especially with all the reps he's getting.
