with that schedule, anything less than 8 wins would be a subpar season. 8 wins meets expectations. 9 or more would be a good year, especially with a new QB and the other ? we have.

I kinda hate doing this but here goes...
Wofford - Win
Tulane - Win
Southern - Win
VPI - Win
Miami - Loss (please prove me wrong here...I hate these guys)
Duke - Win (could be a trap game if we beat VPI and Miami)
UNC - Win
Pitt - Loss
UVA - Win
NC St. - Win
Clemson - Loss
UGA - Win

Don't ask me to clarify cause I wont. I think all these games are winnable and really have no idea what weeks we will be up or down. 9 wins is pretty realistic in my mind. Lets just win them all.

I see no prediction in this post :)

I guess it's buried in there. I think 8 wins. Not going to do a game by game but I think we lose one "we shouldn't" and pull off a win against either VT, Miami, Clemson or Uga (the ones we "shouldn't" win).

Woff-W
Tul-W
Ga South-W
VPI-W(I think we finally beat them)
OPEN
Miami-W(talented but shaky QB play)
Duke-W(we always play well in this)
UNC-L(they are due one against us)
Pitt-W(not that talented and no speed)
UVA-W(homecoming and not talented)
NC State-W(QBs first season in 2yrs)
Clemson-L(close game but could be wrong)
OPEN
UGA-W(they've had off the field issues plus Pruitt hasn't seen this offense yet..meaning I think his players will be confused facing our offense with new defensive schemes and calls..plus we are due here)
ACC Champ-L(we will scare FSU here)
10-3
This hoping for no major injuries and I think JT will have a great season. CPJ seems to do well when he's backed into a corner

Is there a game that is not winnable on our schedule this year?

Only way I can give a prediction is:
  • We will win all of the first 3
  • We will win at least 2 of Clemson, UGA, and Miami, Duke
  • We will win at least 4 of VT, Pitt, UNC, Virginia, NC State

Let's take a look at this and see what I can come up with.

Wofford W
Tulane W
GA Southern W
Now it gets fun
VT going with a W despite the game being a road game. Offensively they don't seem to have the horses and they lost a lot of talent on the D side of the ball. Weird things happen in this game so who knows but I feel Tech is ready to go up there and get a win
Open Date and coming at a good time
"dah u" so much depends on how Duke Johnson comes back, if he's close to 100% I think the will be a L
Duke Still not sold on them, home game W
NC they are due, reverse of Tech w/VT, and it is a road game L
Pitt lost their starting QB and stud DL, W
VA, train wreck city W
NCST, they've not shown their ready to step up W
Now the stretch run for a very good to great season
Clemson lost a lot of big time talent, home game, always close at BDS, going with a W
AND COFH
GA at cesspool stadium, ga going to have issues defensively but Gurley and their O is going to be too much on the road. As bad as it pains me L.

So that brings us to a 9-3 regular season and 2-2 against the "big 4" assuming the team stays healthy through the season. I can handle that :)
