This is a video by Brett Kollman, a guy who does a pretty good job at breaking down film and seems pretty knowledgeable. My question is is something like this doable for a college team? Or is it just too much to ask for guys who cannot devote the time needed to execute this properly? And can someone plz tweet or email this video to Mike Pelton

Take Anthony Barr out of this and they are still good, but he is what makes the A-gap stuff work since he can play pretty much any position between edge rusher and strong safety. I saw him run for 300 yards in high school, watched him dominate O and D at UCLA, and unfortunately he isn't playing for the jackets this season.

In the first double-a gap blitz he shows, Barr backs out of the blitz to cover greg olsen in the slot on the other side of the field.

In the second, Barr takes two blockers either by force, intimidation, confusion.

In the other, he spies newton. If we had a LB who could spy cam newton, we would be much better for it.

The NFL will find your weakness, if there are any. They neutralized Vick, Kapernick, RG3, and many others. Give them enough film and time. The college game has neither.
