GT is 7-4, and coming off an easy win over Alabama St, while Clemson is 9-3 and coming off "their most complete game of the season," says Coach Brownell, an 85-57 win over Richmond.

These teams are pretty evenly matched, with Clemson at RPI-101 and GT at RPI-108. (NET rankings-91 & 112)

With the game at MaCamish, we need the students and fans to bring the energy and the noise (unfortunately, it is Christmas break for the students).

Clemson's best players are guard Chase Hunter, 14.9 ppg, and forward Hunter Tyson, 14.5 ppg. Clemson has 5 guys on their roster from GA, so it will be a homecoming for many of them. They have a solid team that shoots really well from distance (40.2%) and even their bigs like to pop out and hit threes. We are going to need the zone working well tonight.

RPI is a useless metric.

Kenpom's model has GT at a season high 105 and Clemson at 66. It has Clemson favored by 1.

Clemson has shot the ball well (30th in effective fg%).

This is the kind of game we need to win at home to have a successful season.

One more year, please. Just one more year. He can do it. Give him time. Just one more year, let him get his system in. Once the guys get comfortable in his system it’ll start to turn around. Just be patient, please. One more year. I believe he’ll get the job done. No really, just one more year. It’s too early to tell. You have to give him more time. Just one more year, that’ll be enough time. Once his fresh recruits become juniors and seniors we’ll be golden. Just one more year…
