Bought several for a family here in town. The youngest is the only "hero" but the older kids love CHOA and the logo. The youngest (2yrs) lit up like the 4th of July when we gave it to him and his mom put it on him. He loved it. His smile and laughter from it, left no eyes dry in the room.
We may be in for a rough season on the field, but I am proud of Tech partnering with CHOA and adidas for this special day.

As someone who has a grandchild that has had a kidney transplant And over 20 surgeries at CHOA I want to thank everyone and Tech for doing this for CHOA.

Is there somewhere we can just donate money? I donate a lot of time and money to children's causes and am happy to do so. There’s no way I’m dressing up like a cartoon character though. Well, maybe if you can guarantee a win over the mutt. I’ll stick with donating time and money when it comes to the kids.

Cape Day is cool regardless of what the outcome on the field is. Hopefully it’s a close and interesting game that Tech pulls a win out of, but if not it’s still a win based on how it will affect families affected by circumstances greater than sports. This doesn’t really have anything to do with hype.

Cape Day is not hype. It is a fundraiser for Children’s Health Care of Atlanta. Try to have a little more class that Dwag fans.
