Waller was “wasted” because we had a better future NFL receiver one our team (Smelter). People have a short memory of the players we had play in the NFL in recent years.

Smelter's knee and injury luck in the NFL lets people have these memories. Also waller was nothing special at baltimore either for the same reasons he had issues here.

Many stories in the NFL resembling each in some way. I don't take too much from them reflecting on our staff. Since it is a prior staff now, the reflection seems even more useless.

I will say that Waller's blocking in CPJ's offense has certainly aided his NFL success. Who knows how things may have shaken out under different circumstances, but no doubt that blocking is very much appreciated with him playing TE. He creates an automatic mismatch regardless of the personnel the defense trots out.
