High-school seniors seeking to continue their playing careers can meet with coaches representing Division II, Division III, NAIA, junior college and prep schools Saturday at the Brandon Adams Football Recruiting Summit Saturday at the College Football Hall of Fame. Last year, the event drew almost 150 high schoolers and produced more than 20 college admissions and scholarships, according to Omega Psi Phi fraternity, which Adams was a member of and is putting on the conference.
There are additional Tech ties. Two Yellow Jackets signees, Creekside High linebackers Tyson Meiguez and Khatavian Franks, will receive the Brandon Adams Leadership Award and the Project Friendship Student-Athlete Award, respectively. Also, former Tech football player Ryan Stewart will be the keynote speaker.
