Brad Stewart's catch was the best by a GT player since...

I’m glad this has its own dedicated thread. It deserves it. Stewart has made some clutch catches for us, and some very difficult ones also. But the catch last night was spectacular.

The play was coming my way where I sit. And I seemed to see it in slow motion. Initially I thought it was going to be a pass into tight coverage and I was cringing. And then...the double move. And Stewart was breaking clear and WIDE open. The ball was in the air and had touchdown written all over it. Then it began to arc down and I could tell it was an overthrown ball. I could see Stewart begin to dive for it but knew he wouldn’t be able to reel it in...a foot too far ahead of him. I still don’t know how the hell he managed to bring that thing in...much less hold onto it.

One of the most awesome receptions I have seen at Tech. Astounding.

Stephen Hill laid out for a deep ball vs Clemson in 2011. Stew's catch was more clutch though. Both happened right in front of me.
