Just saw on TOS that Avery may be moving to WR next season. Makes sense given the depth at safety and the numbers he put up as a WR in HS.

We don’t have any receivers in the NFL Hall of Fame (yet, according to their site). If you go way back (70s-80s), you’ll see Drew Hill. Recently we’ve had BayBay and Calvin (and others). It’s a great list.

We do have two NFL Hall of Famers, Billy Shaw (OL) and Joe Guyton (HB). Joe Guyton was a Native American player on the 1917 national championship team.

Looking forward to getting Calvin and maybe BayBay in.

I think we need to cut the kid a break. He was probably 6 yrs old when Calvin was a GT. History for today’s generation maxes out at about 1-2 yrs ago.

That’s probably a pretty good move, he’s certainly the right size to make an impact right away at a position of need and he’s got some other good, young safeties ahead of him.

those numbers are TOP WR numbers ,when you start to push 20 yds per catch,
Juan Thomas was good WR also
