If this is any indication, it could be worth around $4.2 mil. Should be a pretty good deal for the Chargers if he pans out in the league.

He will love Chula Vista and National City. San Diego has a great zoo, too. Watch out for wild fires.

Jeremiah and the other rookie Chargers went to Miramar and messed around with the F-18s yesterday. Small world in that my son was the one who happened to tour them. There is a lot to do in San Diego and LA is a day trip away - easy access by train. FWIW, my son said all the Chargers were nice and friendly - not thugs at all.

Bravo Zulu to Nuke Junior. Ask him if there's still an oil slick around Coronado Bridge with my name on it.

Wow Nuke, you got a fine looking son. I was stationed at Miramar in 1972-73 when it was NAS Miramar. I was in VF-96 F4J's, CAW-9 the year and a half I was with VF-96 I was deployed 12 months on the USS Constellation on a WESTPAC cruise. If I had to live in California, I would choose San Diego, it's a really great city.

There I was, 14,000 feet inverted, the flak so thick you could walk on it. . . . . :)

JBR - I wouldn't joke about Marines. The Marines are the ones who take the ground, the Army holds it (y) (LOL - I know your comment was TIC.)

Also, your oil slick was gone, at least when I was last there it wasn't visible from the bar.

My son has a knack for meeting GT players - he got CJs signature on a hat when he was at Kettering in Flint Michigan. Well sort of, but that's another story ........ I don't know who he'll meet next.
