If you don't have ESPN Insider access, here are 2 quotes from the piece:
As I go through prospect evaluations for the draft, some players' tape is painful to get through, while there are others whose tape I could watch all day long.

The 9 players he listed were players who he said he loves watching their film and could watch it all day long:
In no particular order, he listed 9 players. Jerry was one of them. Of him he says:

Jeremiah Attaochu, DE/OLB, Georgia Tech

Attaochu is a tireless worker who plays the game hard and has continued to improve. His best season came as a senior, and he finished really strong down the stretch, with 10.5 sacks in his final six games (including his four-sack performance against rival Georgia). He has exceptional instincts as a pass-rusher, and figures to land in the early second-round range in the draft.

Amen.
I'll take Mack if he's there tho.

Does Mack not scare some of you guys? He looked freakish against the FBS competition and in the one game versus Ohio State. But Meyer admitted after the game that they should have tried doubling him but they were surprised at how disruptive he was. In other words, it would worry me to draft a guy that high based on scouting combine numbers when he hasn't faced the same level of competition that some of these other guys have.

He may turn out to be the next NFL 10-year All Pro stud but you would think a GM has to at least worry a little bit about the level of competition he's faced so far, wouldn't you?

It does concern me some, actually, but we need pass rushers and fits that mold.

McShay has been a big fan of Attaochou for a while now. Teams that value versatility and use multiple schemes will covet JA. A lot of things you can do on his side of the field if he can rush the passer and drop into space but give the same look before the snap.

Regarding Mack, I think if he were a QB, I'd be scared of his competition. But it's not like Buffalo played in the FCS division. Mack dominated the teams he played against, and he has the skillset for his position (speed, power, ability to cover in space, rush the passer as a DE or OLB, and agility) to do very well at the next level. It's all a matter of how you value him. If you think it's too much of a gamble because of competition, you slot him lower on your board, but if you have confidence of what you see on tape you slot him higher. That can be said of all prospects. How many teams wish they would have slotted Tom Brady higher, or you think the Falcons would like the #1 pick they spent on Aundray Bruce (a LB that dominated against SEC competition) back?

I agree. You have to trust your scouts, what you see on film, and measurables. The whole package. I'm not sure level of competition is high on that list. Lots of guys who looked great playing the best competition have flamed out and others who played lesser competition have turned into very good players.

That is why they get the big bucks. Does his game translate to the next level is the big question. This is the story at every level of sports from HS and up. I am sure people were asking similar question concerning the players at TROY that Pelton coached. They answered the bell and this kid probable will also.

Mack scares the **** out of me. I think he has bust written all over him. If the falcons draft him I'll be very worried.

I echoed all you guys' sentiments on a falcons board and got killed. I think he's ptetty good and his numbers are great, but if you put guys like Dee Ford, JA45, etc. they'd probably put up the same number. I don't know if the same would be true for him if he's in one of the big 6fay conferences

Don't want Clowney either. NO!!! The guy slacks off, doesn't have a great motor, may be another Aundray Bruce. Take an OT, Robinson, Matthews or Lewan (whichever is available) with 1st round pick. Also, I like the kid from Buffalo way better than Clowney as a DE in the 1st. Would love to see the Falcons take #45 in the second round. Dee Ford or maybe Ealy would be nice picks as well. This is a deep draft, hope they don't eff it up by trading away picks to move up for CLOWN ey.

Your sentiment is shared by many. I'm not one of those.
Do I think the guy took some plays off last year? Yes, I believe he did. But I also know that he was really good friends with a guy named Marcus Lattimore, who was as sure of a "sure thing" at running back as there ever was before he tore up his knee twice. If Clowney had been able to go pro one year earlier, nobody would have said "he takes plays off" because he was a hustling baller at that point. But I do think he played often times not to get hurt last year because he didn't want to take a chance at damaging the one asset he had which could potentially have made him millions of dollars.

Will he be a good pro? Nobody can tell. But I can say this with little hesitation. Aundray Bruce was NEVER the physical specimen this kid was. The athleticism, strength, size and quickness that this guy has is something that comes along very rarely. So he has the physical skills to succeed if his drive to excel turns out to match that.

Regarding OL, I hope like hell the Falcons don't go OL in the first round. The only OT in that group I think is worthy of a top 6 pick is Robinson but I think he's gone before the Falcons get to pick. I know everyone seems to love Matthews because of pedigree and measurables and his "quick first step" but I'll go back to what I saw on TV. I saw people constantly running past him last year at A&M. If he had been protecting Andrew Luck or Matt Ryan instead of Manziel, I honestly don't think the kid would likely be a first round projection. I believe Manziel saved his bacon by escaping from pressure over & over again. If you don't believe me, go back and watch some of the A&M games and see just how many times Matthew got his arse handed to him in pass blocking. And FWIW, the Falcons are a pass first team.

You are right about his Clowney's physicality and measurables, was using the Aundray Bruce analogy since he was the first guy selected in that draft and was a total bust. Clowney could go either way, just scares me to give up any draft picks in this deep draft and hope that Clowney works out. Not worth the risk IMO.

I get it. I'm pretty sure that same conversation has been going on in the Houston Texans war room as well.

Edited to add: And I meant to add that I completely agree with you on the draft picks. If the Falcons could trade their pick and a 4th rounder or lower to swap for #1, then I say go for it. Anything else (and it would apparently take a lot more), no way would I do it.

Give me Clowney all day everyday and twice on Sunday. What's funny about the draft process is that if an "expert" labels you then everyone runs with it. For every play that Clowney is not showing effort I can find 2 with him beating double/triple or chasing a play down from the backside.

Check this Mayock analysis of a once projected top-10 pick who fell to the 3rd rd.

Negatives: Is still an unfinished product and needs to be more consistent in his technique and effort. Might be relegated to a role as pass-rush specialist until he gains strength and bulk. Too often relies on his speed to the outside to generate his pass rush, losing all gap responsibility. Inconsistent in his explosiveness off the ball and as a tackler. Has the speed and length to make life difficult for NFL tackles but must give more constant effort. Washed out when blockers (even smaller tight ends) get into his pads; his height is a detriment in these situations. Tendency to stand around instead of chasing plays. Johnson has struggled with various injuries over his career.

I'm pretty sure many would never aligned those statements with Michael Johnson and his NFL Career has reflected otherwise. Ima trust my eyes and I see star when I see Clowney

Robinson would be a great fit for any team except the Falcons. Auburn Olineman will have the same stigma as GT OL; can you pass set.

You don't pass up that kind of talent. Bortles and Manziel have more odds of becoming a bust than Clowney.

Falcons have 2 compensatory picks in the 4th round besides their normal 4th rounder. I wonder how many of you would make this trade:

Atlanta trades the #6 pick in the draft to Houston Texans for the #1 overall pick to be able to draft Clowney. In exchange, the Falcons also give up their usual 4th round pick and the first of the 2 4th-round compensatory picks.

Would you make that deal?
