The pitching lineups for the Braves-Nationals series in Washington are

Friday June 21st 0-0 Dallas Keuchel vs 3-6 Anibal Sanchez

Saturday June 22nd 2-5 Mike Foltynewicz vs

Sunday June 23rd 8-1 Mike Siroka vs 6-5 Patrick Corbin
Watch out for Friday night. DK starting for us is going to be a wildcard. Anibal is solid as we all know from last year, and he handed it to us earlier this year in a nats uniform.

All that being said, this home stand was incredible. Gaining 5 games over a 10 game stretch was huge.

Bold prediction of the night. I think we should go Soroka, Fried, Touki, Newk, Teheran, Keuchel the rest of the way just to spare the young arms. That’s assuming Newk comes back fine. If we stick with a 5 man rotation, I’d love to see Folty as our closer, that would be nasty and we wouldn’t have to worry about his stamina anymore. Just come in throwing straight gas.

I love Newk in the pen, and having he and touki in the rotation cuts out our long relief, but that may be where Gausman fits back in if the roster allows

Meant to say if we stick with that 6 man rotation, Folty HAS to be the closer. Luke and minter are good pieces, but we just can’t rely on them in the 9th for the rest of the year. IMO Folty is the answer. Not sure we have the cajones to pull that move though.

Mostly all good for the Braves right now, good to see Max Fried fight through a somewhat rough start last night.
Donaldson has definitely turned it around, good for him, it seems there was quite a bit of initial doubt from the Braves fans (all of us).
Freddie with his 21st dinger, talk about a under the radar guy.
Scary about Newcomb, hope he is alright. Look forward to Keuchel tomorrow ... GO BRAVES !!

It's an interesting question now if the Braves will keep Josh Donaldson around in 2020. He's playing now like he did in Oakland and Toronto.

I never doubted Donaldson. Loved the signing from day one.

That's a good question. Riley is definitely going to be a 3rd baseman long term, but he has made enough strides in LF to be serviceable there. My only question is Camargo. I wanted him to be starting RF next year, but I don't want to see an OF with both Riley and Camargo playing in it. It's good to have options though.
