it was like that this year, too. That Thursday game in Nov is going to be hard to get to on time from my neck of the woods.I’m kinda bummed that there will only be one home game in October (10/05 against {u}NC). October tends to provide the best weather for tailgating and football, regardless of kickoff time.
I will bet it is Pitt. Oct 5 feels too earlySo Homecoming is very likely to be either UNC or Pitt.
Probably Pitt, but it COULD also be VT.So Homecoming is very likely to be either UNC or Pitt.
They still try to schedule either Duke or UNC the week after midterms.Oh come on guys we are Tech we can find some reason to hate this schedule. Now look again and find a reason to hate it.
This schedule is going to look nice on my "Undefeated 2019 National Championship T-Shirt"
That'd be a yuge success for a transition year IMO

Where are the 4 losses
Exactly, if we were still running TO, we would've seen a schedule littered with opponent byes & easy games the week before they played us.Since we will be playing an O that everyone else in the entire college football universe does (yawn), there isn't any reason to listen to programs asking for bye dates before playing Tech. We'll see if that's a plus or a minus directly.
Btw, I think the schedule is ok this time and I like the 7 home games. Seems like old times. This is also a schedule that we can get a winning season out of with a little luck and effort. I hope we do since the 2020 schedule will be a prolonged visit to football Hell.
Lol they’ll hate that it conflicts the Notre Dame gameLove it love it. Getting married this year and Sept 21 appears to be the perfect date, especially with mutt in-laws!
