Not sure how many may have visited Ramsey's twitter from the above post, but there's an interview on there that's about 1 hour 15 minutes long that I think is worth listening to. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/james-ramsey-joins-from-phenom-to-the-farm-episode-72/ The first few minutes start talking about his current role at Tech and the "dead period" from the holidays into the new year. There's also a lot of talk about Tech the last 10 minutes or so. Some Tech mentions throughout the rest of the interview as well, including him saying that Tech is a great fit for him for the athletics and academics (he apparently visited Yale prior to committing to FSU...), and mentioning Danny Hall while talking about #11 (Mike Martin) and Nick Saban... I think his most insightful comments come from his experiences though: from trying to break into FSU's lineup his freshman year, deciding to return for his senior year and passing up the money he was offered by pro ball at that time, to what he then experienced in pro ball. What he learned from those experiences he can now use to not only coach, but to advise, the kids he recruits from HS and those that are looking to go professional after their second or third years in college ball. He has lived it, so who better to advise you on how to handle it? Not sure how successful he eventually may be in coaching, but sounds like a future head coach to me...
