I think our young guys need the practice. More practice is always more beneficial than less practice. I almost wouldn't even want them to devote much time to learning the other team's systems. Just practice what you do and then have fun come game time.
It wouldn't surprise me if he made this decision after spring practice. If he doesn't make headway on the depth chart, he may decide to take the job, and he should. I think Albert Rocker did something similar a couple years ago...
At some point if you think Kallon can make a difference you have to send him out there. On 3rd & longs or whatever. He's too athletic to not do something...
08 vs. u(sic)ga. Was in a heavy dwag sidewalk alum section. Never been that elated while still scared for my well-being in my life.
09 vs. FSU. Best day ever.
09 ACCCG. One of the great road trips of my life.

You can think this, but you'd be incorrect. Calculus has been used as a weapon against Tech for longer than I've been alive. It's probably one of the two or three most effective means of negative recruiting a coach can use against Georgia Tech. Even if a kid is smart enough to do the work, why...
ATL1's feelings are just hurt because every time our coach clears up a situation like this it further hurts his argument about who CPJ is. If it were anyone else he wouldn't feel that way.
Having said that, Kamara's juice is worth the squeeze. His ability is worth any minor infraction. He gets 40 lbs. of dope sent to his school mailbox, THEN we have this conversation...
James Franklin can recruit. There's MUCH more to coaching than that. Ask Ron Zook, Tommy Bowden, Charlie Weis, Randy Shannon, and countless others. When James Franklin plays for a conference championship anywhere, then I'll say he can coach. I'd rather have our guy.
