Should we play in the CBI?

I think our young guys need the practice. More practice is always more beneficial than less practice. I almost wouldn't even want them to devote much time to learning the other team's systems. Just practice what you do and then have fun come game time.

    Perkins may not be back

It wouldn't surprise me if he made this decision after spring practice. If he doesn't make headway on the depth chart, he may decide to take the job, and he should. I think Albert Rocker did something similar a couple years ago...

    Spring Position Battle - DT

At some point if you think Kallon can make a difference you have to send him out there. On 3rd & longs or whatever. He's too athletic to not do something...

Top three GT games you have been to?

08 vs. u(sic)ga. Was in a heavy dwag sidewalk alum section. Never been that elated while still scared for my well-being in my life. 09 vs. FSU. Best day ever. 09 ACCCG. One of the great road trips of my life.

"Aaron Murray should be the #1 pick in the NFL draft...

    a) Blake Bortles or Teddy B. b) Being short makes it tougher to succeed in the NFL, but it's not a deal-breaker. c) No. I think what NFL teams do with their money is their business. It's like buying a car that's been in an accident. That doubt is always there. d) I'd try to trade down. I think...

    The Saban Rule?

I think, if I were a DC, I'd ave a defensive player "lay on the ball" for three or four seconds after a tackle is made to try and get players on/off.

    Alvin Kamara transfer... (@A_kamara6)

That's easy to say, but kids today don't have that point of view. Most of them all think they're going to the NFL, and calculus won't help them get there.

    Alvin Kamara transfer... (@A_kamara6)

You can think this, but you'd be incorrect. Calculus has been used as a weapon against Tech for longer than I've been alive. It's probably one of the two or three most effective means of negative recruiting a coach can use against Georgia Tech. Even if a kid is smart enough to do the work, why...

Paul Johnson recruiting Q&A with AJC

ATL1's feelings are just hurt because every time our coach clears up a situation like this it further hurts his argument about who CPJ is. If it were anyone else he wouldn't feel that way.

    Alvin Kamara transfer... (@A_kamara6)

Having said that, Kamara's juice is worth the squeeze. His ability is worth any minor infraction. He gets 40 lbs. of dope sent to his school mailbox, THEN we have this conversation...

I would 'like' this 73 times if I could. That drives me insane. It should be a penalty.

Paul Johnson recruiting Q&A with AJC

Fair enough. A good coach would've gotten that team to the SEC Title game. I'm not saying he's terrible, but I think he gets a LOT of undue credit....

Paul Johnson recruiting Q&A with AJC

James Franklin can recruit. There's MUCH more to coaching than that. Ask Ron Zook, Tommy Bowden, Charlie Weis, Randy Shannon, and countless others. When James Franklin plays for a conference championship anywhere, then I'll say he can coach. I'd rather have our guy.
