I’m a student and the sound system is a mystery. We had an event during the freshman week of welcome where we watched Avengers Endgame and the sound seemed good. It was LOUD, the only issue was quiet audio in the movie was hard to make out, but I feel that’s almost to be expected in a stadium...
Regardless if the quotes are really from coaches, the importance of a feedback loop from this year probably can’t be understated. The last two years had big asterisks, while this one just doesn’t feel the same way. A better than expected year this year would
1) Cement a potentially great 2022...
I’ve been following recruiting fairly closely, so I’d like to add to this something we should be excited about. The composite four star guys are awesome, but something I’ve noticed is the three stars we are getting are the higher tier/more desirable ones. CPJ era most three stars were in that...
I agree that’s waaaayyy to low, but remember it was a shorter schedule (3/12 vs 3/10) with a true freshman quarterback, multiple injuries, and key pieces out due to COVID tracing week to week. Not to mention we played it safer than most teams with practice during the height of the pandemic and...
Remember what makes most good college teams is talented upperclassmen starters. The 2020 class is Collin’s first recruiting class and they won’t be upperclassmen until the season after this one. I think the get old stay old approach should give us some perspective as to why it’s a 7 year contract.
With our already incredible recruiting momentum I think this is good news for the program. It’s now MUCH more realistic for us to make the playoff, which could start to even the playing field in recruiting (factories not being guaranteed as many in state and close to home 4 stars and even 5...
Exactly, hence the 7 year commitment really being key. We already saw flashes of what CGC and co’s recruiting can bring with their only class being true freshman. The 2021 class looks solid and 2022 is off to a crazy start, the future is looking bright, and these transfers should help a ton in...
I’m hopeful they will. Cochran should be an instant upgrade at LT and returning Williams but moved to RT is solid. Minihan will have a year of experience playing Center, and Ryan Johnson at RG I have confidence in. LG seems wide open though so that’s a questions mark for sure
I’m glad someone in the media is paying attention, our roster should be much improved but our schedule is absolutely brutal. Hopefully our fanbase sees the on field product for how much better it should be instead of getting their pitchforks out over not getting to 7 this year, it’s a process
Kevin Harris was a huge recruit out of HS, but with all our supposed DE talent where will he fit? He was supposed to be a speed rusher, so was he practicing at OLB in the 3-4 there?
It makes you wonder how much of this is just rival fans trying to make us look bad, personally I haven’t witnessed that much or that type of negatively from our fan base
