My cousin who was a college BB coach in the OVC & later an AD told me after I told him what a great player Mark Price was that he would never make it in the NBA. I assured him that MP would be a good player in the NBA. I have never let him forget it.
I think the sport is dying because of the NIL in part but participation levels are down, aging fan bsse, etc
Also NIL is now in high schools

A lot of the Oline bashing is unfair in my opinion as we are playing really young guys there & I expect they will look better in the 2nd half of the year.

Since about 1960 or so but my best memories are of Billy Lothridge, BillyMartin, Ted Davis & that bunch but there have been a lot of great memories over the years highs & lows. My favorite coaches are Pepper & CPJ but liked them all except for a couple.
