I hope they fix the org structure so that CBK reports to the OC and relinquishes the 'run game coord' title - whatever that meant. I'd love for CBK to be a long term coach here (as a GT legacy), but he has not put enough OL production up to get cranky about a new boss.
IMO we have to make some changes in Defensive staff...too much talent with poor results. We also need a QB coach....I don't think these guys are getting better (incl Oline deficiencies) and Pat can't do this as an add'l duty to OC. Needs full-time attention.
Can't coach our guys to be disciplined and not walk the talk. Yea - the officiating was bad, but Narduzzi just brought his team and played the game. I like CGC but this seemed kinda immature to me. If you can't get thru the handshake - wave, say 'good game' and blame it on the protocols. Who...
I think we all want the best for every S/A that comes to Tech...JG, JY, JS and TG. That QB room has some terrific athletes and I enjoy watching GT play much more this year (so far) than last year. The 3 and outs on O and a D getting gassed and gashed was not fun. This team feels like a big play...
...Nate Cottrell is an outstanding student athlete and I hope his degree from GT serves him well as it has for the rest of us. No conditions, no comparisons.
I believe these guys are investing the time/effort in ball/school. I hope they can keep their chins up and be proud they are D1 ball players at a really good school. The fortunes of W/Ls don't always tell the tape of individual success. I'll be a GT fan regardless....
No disrespect intended to any of these fine S/As - just spit balling
LJ decides to transfer
TO is incorporated in other ways into the Offense - great athlete / heart of a champion
Yates see the field before end of year...Graham inconsistent / turns over ball via INTs
This becomes a battle...
I think you're on it...it's like we're playing QBs to make everyone happy vs MGT deciding that we are a) playing to win today or b) playing for tomorrow's wins. I don't think either guy is consistently the 'win for today' answer - I would get QB3 in there with reps from freshman QB4. Find out...
After the Fan Day / Open Practice, I saw Brent Key on the field and said to him - 'you guys must be excited about the enthusiasm you see here today' - meaning fan turnout, etc. He immediately remarked "this was going to be a process and take some time"...he knew what cards he was holding.
We gotta pick a QB to develop as we need to win some games this year. Not gonna happen platooning 3 or 4 guys. IMO - which doesn't count for sh*t - is it would be JG. Integrate TO into offense some other way. LJ now has another year of eligibility (for 3 more) and could transfer. We still have...
I thought our D looked good - despite getting hung for a bunch of points. Esp the Secondary. Clemson is going to score on every team they play in ACC - but I thought there were several good series on D to 'build on'.
Didn't see alot of change in S/T play - but we only punted and had touchback...

"It starts with how you run your program. I think we're very similar," Satterfield said. "We try to lead with love and not fear. Some programs are going to make you do things; I want these guys to want to...
there were alot of passing reps and imo many nice throws. It wasn't the sht show that I frankly expected. I think we have a good crop of skill players and need OL/DL to really gel and play up.
I was there - good crowd / good energy I thought. Lots of passing reps...really appreciated the first thing CGC did when assembling team at end of practice was to have them stand, face and acknowledge the fans that came. I think he does such a nice job connecting folks.
I think Clemson and UGA will be tests of character.
Beyond that, we have good athletes that are being well conditioned and taught new schemes / position techniques. In the end, these athletes will have to make plays. I think we can beat any of these others on schedule.
My concern is that when...
