So we are in year 3. I would expect improvement in the Wins and losses column. And by the way, looking improved but continuing to lose gets you fired as a coach. And as a fan of the sport only, of course I care about winning.

I just can't understand Tech fans that didn't seem to like 11 win seasons, Orange Bowls, ACC championships and going to ACCG. Beating FSU and Georgia. The only coach in my 52 years of Tech Football to have done these things.

So please explain 2014...all those guys that did not want to play for CPJ. Most of the OL players that came to Tech in that era did not come from high schools running his system. They came from systems that we run now. Also please explain all those bad lines that made his tenure one of the top...

Why don't we just wait and see what happens next Saturday night. Are we improved...no we are only as good as our last game 9 months ago. Till we get past the Pitt game I think our report card can not be filled out. Should we beat NIU, yes based on last year.

Well, for us it would make our schedule hard enough to the point we may no win more than 8 games but I do think 9 is alright. But that said If we move to 9 I want an extra SEC game every year. Of course the real damage of a 10 game schedule is to the Group of 5 and FCS programs.

Actually for play off there would have been 6 2 or more loss teams in. We had 3 losses along with Kansas St. and Arizona. But as the playoff committee says, did we look like a top ten team I believe the answer was yes.

Under the rules of expanded playoff, in 2014 we would have been in as we were ranked 12th.

CPJ said it best at Tech they want you to be MIT Monday through Friday and be Florida State on Saturday. Not going to happen.

Improvement can only be measured by wins and losses. How bad you lose is no measure. If we only lose to Clemson by 45 have we improved? If we win 4 games have we improved, yes, but not much. If we look better and only win 4 this year and look better and win 5 next...We will be in the market...

And I keep looking at this going...the SEC won what? Isn't this about winning and losing football games? The SEC is Bama, plain and simple. three fourths of the conference is vey comparable to the ACC. In fact I would argue that Miami, UNC are probably closing in on UGA. And As I said, let's...

So let's just boil this down to what it is. This is not about the SEC. The SEC is full of mediocre and some bad teams. Georgia is doing better because Tennessee, Auburn, and Florida are worse. Now maybe Florida is improving as they ransacked UGA last year. UGA this year is conjecture right...
