    Enough is enough...

Thank you, sir! I have often wondered if this was the first coaching change some of these posters have gone through. Maybe they aren't sure how to handle it. This is #7 for me. Why is it so hard to thank the departing regime for their efforts and hope the new regime is successful?

Most blown 4th Quarter leads since 2012

Blowing leads in the 4th quarter is nothing new for Tech, and certainly not new to the CPJ era. Years before CPJ arrived a friend of mine called us "the Bud Song Champions", imagining what our record would have been if the games ended at the 3rd quarter. Lack of depth is the most probable...

    Clock Management

Should you really be bleeding the clock if YOU need to score in order to win? What if you bleed so much you find yourself crunched for time and you haven't produced the winning score yet? Seems especially critical to a running offense.

    Declining Game Attendance

I was heavily involved in a local alumni club for many years, including the time when we were no longer able to get athletic coaches to speak at our events. I don't think that was the the Alumni Association's doing. Everyone knew that the football and basketball coaches were the premier draw...

to make sure I can watch GT football games? I'm paying far too much for Dish just to make sure I get all the sports channels. For the past two years I have managed to get every GT game on one station or another, but it seems like our broadcasts jump all over the place. I'm looking at going to...

What was the first GT and Non-GT football game that you attended?

First Tech game was against South Carolina on 9/11/1976. I was on campus for FACET. Can't remember the first non-Tech game. Could have been a Dolphins game or an Orange Bowl game.

College football attendance continues to decline

I'm guilty of contributing to it. After holding season tickets for 18 years even though I lived 3 hours away from BDS, I just got tired of the whole game day experience and gave up my seats. So many noon kickoffs & Thursday games in the past few years - for TV. So I quit fighting them and...

    Ireland

We will be driving all over Ireland for the week before the game and getting back into Dublin probably mid-day on Friday. We come home on Labor Day.

    Ireland

We aren't staying at the Maldron Hotel on Pearce Street, but we are close. 5 of us booked a flat for the days around the game and if Google Maps is correct, we are literally right across the street. We'll have to bring a flag or something to hang from our balcony!

    Introduce yourself

New member here! I'm a 1980 grad, EE, and I now live in Knoxville, TN. I still get football season tickets and make it to most of the games. We will be in Dublin to kick off the season and I hope to see a lot of white and gold all over Ireland! Go Jackets!
