We apparently have a new baseball commit, Drew Compton, from a New Jersey school. They call him a Soph third baseman and the school is Gov. Livingston. Can anyone add more clarification to this?

He was announced this afternoon. He comes from USCe where he did basketball and baseball broadcasts. He also handled ACC game of the week football on Serius Radio. The USC people really hated to lose him to us.

I just read about this. I believe this is the first time we have had two Freshman All-Americans in the same year. I think this may be an indicater of a program on the rise with another stellar class coming in this Fall.
