Can we stay competitive in the NIL era?

I wonder how much money we could raise if everybody had to throw in $10 to the A-T Fund per post for each post they‘ve made in this thread. Think I’m in for under $50.

    RIP Demaryius Thomas

This was an absolute gut punch to wake up to this morning. All I can think of is the two of us in one of our 8am management classes trying our hardest not to laugh out loud at the other's joke. Phenomenal football player. Even better person. The earth was a better place with Bay Bay on it.

    OC and DC replacement thoughts!!

Being glass half-full on Godsey and the OC situation... He's from the GOL and Belichick coaching trees. IIRC, Belichick prevented him from going to penn state with BOB...meaning he was valuable to the pats. NFL OCs don't get second chances if they're not approved by the rest of the coaching...

Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

DC, yes. Head coach, absolutely not. Wasn’t clear what the OP was stating. Muschamp is an absolute muppet, but a great DC.

Got any other bad ideas? I get we’re upset, but probation is a bad idea.

While Stansbury has said Collins is coming back, I don’t believe that can be 100% guaranteed if the money for a buyout is there. There’s one game left and if it’s as bad or worse than last week, well, things could get very interesting at 150 Bobby Dodd Way Saturday evening.

Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

All of this is 100% correct and true. The only thing we can really kvetch about with regard to the Institute and monetary support for Athletics is the muddied waters about giving and not making it clear what donations go where and how. Outside of Roll Call, it is extremely difficult to give to...

It’s same in every profession. Fact of the matter is this as it pertains to this thread: when you don’t have an attractive job, you can only hire folks who want the job that are qualified enough within your budget. This is what we got. Our AD has done well with spending across the board since...

Nah, shep. Your logic is twisted. Doesn’t matter who the AD is or isn’t. The program needs money to improve and this is how we give…not just to football, but to all sports as well as the athletic scholarships which directly benefit for the athletes. And let’s get something straight, chief - I...

He stood next to the ref on the platform and offered his pair of glasses.

Softball coach too. Also upgraded baseball staff. We had our highest Directors Cup finish this past year in quite some time. Football results have a way of overshadowing the rest of Athletics for better or worse.

    Is David Shanahan human?

David Shanahan was playing GAA football for Kerry before picking up punting. The footballers are impressive and the average player can easily kick a ball out of a solo through some uprights from 40yds no-problem. Now that he’s able to practice on a football field and not just on his uncle’s...

    Money Down Poll

Chords has forced QBs to call timeouts and cuss out drum majors. I remember Tommy Bowden blew a gasket when his QB had to call timeout in 2007 trying to score a TD in the North Endzone in the first quarter after a Tech turnover on the first play from scrimmage. Climpsun wound up having to kick a...
