Actually, K White coming was better than any of the outgoing defenders in my mind. He was so good that he just about single-handedly got a bad Coordinator an extension.
This young man has never had to drop weight for wrestling unless he was trying to get down to 215. The gap is huge between 215 and 285 (a 70lb gap in one class.
Wish this young man all the best. I was confident he would be a solid QB for us prior to Kings arrival. Also glad that our coaches found a plan to keep him involved with the goal line offense. He will always be a Tech man and hopefully tack on another degree for his 30 year plan.😊
Very happy that this young man walks with his diploma. I have no idea how things would have worked out if he had been injury free. Just wish we/he could have had that chance.
Surprised to see that I’m not the only one to pic this game. Had my 9 and 8 year old kids in the stands. It was a very deceiving weather day. Totally unprepared for the bone chilling wind. Throw in the nail biting game , making it impossible to leave early with the game in the balance.
Sorry guys. I thought he was absolutely terrible. My father and grandfather both loved him though.
Wes Durham is by far the best we have had in my opinion.
Great guy. Got to meet him in early 80s when I believe he was coaching at Chamblee. Ironically, I was the head track coach at his alma mater (Avondale) where he set the state shot put record of 66 ft.
Growing up a huge Tech fan, also witnessed the Perdoni matchups.
Time stands still for no one .😔
We are very lucky that UCF fell apart in 2015. The 0-12 flop in George’s last year made them rethink Brent being the “Head Coach In Waiting”. Also helped in his development with several years under Sabin.
Kinda think things worked out just fine.
You certainly can make it work with Kings arm talent and a 10.2 100 meter wide out and a 10.5 100 meter slot. They can’t be ignored, when in motion. Very dangerous. I haven’t seen creativity like this since Fridgeon.
I don’t want to short change the unexpected contribution the Ivy League grad...
