Went to the game today and it was a much needed win

I had forgotten about this one too, but it looked like an obvious defensive PI against Leary or Lane coming across the middle early in the game that stalled a drive. That could have lead to a sustained drive and altered the game. The defender definitely got there early.

Murphy was better than Contreras last year. Murphy hit more homers and had almost as many rbis in about 35 less games. Contreras is always going to hit for a better average though. Contreras has definitely been better this year but I also think that injury really derailed Murphy. Obliques...
