Agreed. The other aspect that I've thought about is that if King comes back next year (which I think he will), we could RS Philo next year. But I'd much rather him get that RS this year just in case something happens next year to King.

So this is probably a minor concern, but Philo can only play in 1 more game before his RS is burned. I'm hoping that King can heal up and we don't need Philo against both NC State and Georgia. Then, maybe we get him a few plays for the bowl game. That kid is going to be very special for us!

Sloppy with the ball early but look much better once they got into the flow of the game. 15 assists to 6 turnovers at half is a good ratio. I really like the length that we have and we have 3 really good guards in McCollum, Terry, and George. Mustaf will get there too with more experience this year.

I live close to Gwinnett's stadium so I go to double digit games every year. Baldwin is every bit as good as advertised. He is going to be an extremely good catcher. Also, he is lefty and adds some balance to Murphy. We could also use Tromp at catcher to start the year as the backup.

We had a couple of drives later in the game where we were in field goal range but had to go for it instead of kicking the ball (which I know is not guaranteed) but it could have been 14-12 with the stop. We also what should have been a fumble blown dead. That would have put us in field goal...

You're underestimating how important momentum is in football. It could have definitely changed how the game played out.

The other thing that made me mad about that play was the ref called it a first down without the side judge even spotting the ball. He just looked at where they were at and basically said yeah, that's close enough.

I do like that we get to stay in Durham at the end of the year for the ACC championship.
