Not really. The team we played last year wouldn't have beaten Wake Forest by 21 or South Carolina by 30. They improved significantly on offense in the second half of the season. They also have new coordinators, a potential star backing up the QB, and a true freshman at RT.

This is disproven by several guys every year now. High school QBs are more prepared than ever to jump to the next level. It's obviously on a case by case basis depending on maturity and skill level though. Im pretty sure Clemson is going to have a true freshman QB leading them by mid season.
