The more comments you make, the more convinced I am that you aren't watching the games. Haynes is small but has straight up jacked some dudes up this year. It's more about pad level than size.
YPC 5.7 (Haynes), 4.7 (Cooley), 4.4 (King), 4.2 (Smith). Tell me again how he's the best RB. Not to even mention he doesn't know how to pass protect and is a mediocre receiver out of the backfield. Love Dontae, great kid, but he does not need to be taking away carries from Haynes or Cooley.
Don't forget the Leary drop of a 40 yard dime down the sideline and the no calls on the PI to Leary in the end zone and Rutherford on a 3rd down. Not to mention the fact that King was pretty much running for his life as soon as he got the snap every play. King did not have a great day but there...
We are 30th in total ranking now and not likely to add many more. We are 42nd in average ranking which I think is going to be more accurate in terms of where we end up. Until we get recruiting up to at least top 30 in terms of average ranking, it will be tough sledding.
I was a student at GSU in the early 2000s and one of my friends was a majorette at GT too. This was prior to GSU having a football team so I think that was fairly common for cheerleaders, majorettes, band, etc.
At the risk of sounding like a jerk...this is a good thing. We just got back 3 scholarships at the expense of 3 guys who were likely never going to contribute here.
The April 30 deadline is just for a player to enter the transfer portal. They can commit to a new school or return to their current school (if the school will take them back) whenever they want.
Any insight into why he only got 57 carries as a senior despite averaging 8.4 ypc and only 93 carries as a junior despite averaging 7.4 ypc? I'm guessing injuries but does anyone know?
If Malik Rutherford plays all season like he did yesterday, we won't miss Nate McCollum at all. He even took Nate's old jersey number lol. Tight ends still have some very frustrating drops though Dylan Leonard did have a nice one handed catch on the west sideline. Both QBs were very impressive...
Well, you should. Look how well the dorky white guy played out in recruiting Atlanta. I'm not saying it should be the only, or even primary, attribute, but it could absolutely be the difference between landing some recruits and missing on them. It may not be right, and you (and I for that...
The problem with your theory about the football public demanding change is that the vast majority of the football public is made up of fans of the top 10-15 largest football schools. These top 10-15 schools are the only ones with a legitimate chance to win and they all think they can so why...
I was watching Good Day Atlanta on Fox 5 this morning and they did a brief story about CMR being selected to the HOF but made zero mention of CPJ. This is the BS we have to deal with in this state.
How could we do worse? The program is going in reverse and no one is watching anymore. Doesn't get much worse than that. Gotta can this nerd and get a real coach. We did Memphis a huge favor and were told we were getting a good recruiter and mediocre coach. From my seat my seat, he looks like a...
