Whoa
Little early to declare hitting a failure.
We have some really good transfers and some good freshmen .
Ellis is pressing currently imo but was a big pickup in the portal.
Green and Jones are both very good pickups in the portal.
Giesler and Yunger have been hurt and missed time already...
0 for 12 risp
That won’t cut it
I like your lineup THWG
Only change is I’d move cam to Lf and put Carsten in at first till Giesler is back
Must have power presence
Let Bobby dh
Something is just really off with Ellis
He seems to be feeling pressure of only lefty in lineup and carrying that...
Fair enough
Only difference is they could play dh against pitt
Tech baseball could not as they head to Athens today and would lose revenue and home field.
Ladies will not. They play dh today at home vs Pitt
Game shouldn’t have been played I agree but they tried to get it in
Well to be fair, our pitching has been good so far this year for the most part.
The new pc, Matt Taylor, is much more engaged with the staff and is quick to visit the mound early vs late as Borrell would do.
9 runs tonight in awful weather against a powerful lineup isn’t the end of the world...
Did anyone watch Clemson last year
First twenty games, it appeared like they were not very good and would miss the tournament
We were in a position to sweep them at home.
Got swept by their rival usc.
Caught fire and ended up being a national seed
Yes I know they lost to Tennessee but my...
Totally agree
I’m certainly not measuring the season based on a miserable , cold and rainy night in March
Next two games hold more weight imo
With both teams full on midweek, it really may end up being a no decision
No matter. Go win the series boys!
Not certain but I’ve been able to general admission tickets last couple of years on game day.
This year I just order them early since my son is with me this weekend
THWG
I completely agree.
Cornell is a solid team.
Evidenced by the fact that we have their stud catcher coming to us next year through the portal- Nathan Waugh!
Their hitters are pesky and work counts.
This is baseball and days like today happen.
I thought the pitching was okay overall...
Cornell Game 2 observations and thoughts...
Let's start off with Pitching.
Aeden & Tate shined yesterday.
Aeden Finateri is just flat out a competitor. Dude gets after it on the mound. He just lives in the strike zone and attacks. His fb sits in the mid to upper 80's and his palm ball and...
Fred,
I'll say this. Too early in the season to look at statistics quite yet regarding fielding and defense however, we seem to be much better up the middle with Bechetti and Green at SS and 2nd. Burress is solid in centerfield.
Parker is an upgrade in RF
Yunger is solid in LF
Drew was an...
