As GT fans, we've had years of experience moving players from position to position to fill gaping holes in the 2 deep. We are not accustomed to this 'depth' thingy. Can't move any of the qb's to AB or WR as they would disappear down the two deep.. They can't kick and we've got excellent DBs...
You're right. Teams just did not throw deep when Swilling was healthy. I wish so much that Swilling had been healthy when we played UVA in 1990. That would have been a tremendous matchup with their passing game. It was painful watching him try to cover their big receiver that day.

I'll be the first to list CPJ as a pro for us. I think in general he has been very good at milking everything out of the talent he's had on offense. Injuries, turnovers, lack of depth have hurt at times. We haven't had many openers as tough as UT under him. We weren't ready to play at Kansas...
