Let's win tomorrow and force a rubber match. Disappointing our batting with risp, but they put themselves in a position to win, which is at least a positive.
I voted one last week and was delightfully wrong. Going to continue that trend.
On the defensive side, we just have to find a way to limit the big innings.
I read the summary, but I just don't understand. Is the claim that the contract they willingly signed nonenforceable from the start? The whole point of the GOR was to prevent what Clemson is now trying to do, and they knowingly inked their signatures.
Another positive is NC State played this as a game to win and used some of their best relief pitching trying to hold. Taking down their number one stopper and keeping him away from Sunday was big.
For the poll, the interesting thing for me is I can honestly see any of the four options happening. I like that this team isn't as reliant on home runs with how many threats to steal bases we have. Pitching is going to be vital (as usual) but has been to volatile for me to really gauge where we...
I love baseball season so much. Don't think anyone was pleased with the first inning, but the boys brought their bats today. Was a fun game to watch for 8.5 innings.
Man, I just found out today that the football outsiders site is completely dead. I'll always fondly remember checking every week for the updated F+ rankings.
Wasn't sure if there was a better dumping grounds for things like this. I thought this was a very interesting video about how Philadelphia Eagles offense doesn't make use of enough concepts to be elite.
One of the things I found most interesting was is that the teams with the highest percentage...
There are people on instagram who make a living my posting content saying "wow this lotion made my skin feel amazing."
An NIL collective telling a recruit "we will pay you 20k over the next 4 months if 2 times a week you speak highly of GT football and engage other potential recruits in a...
I think you're conflating things though. Schools are never allowed to provide money, and I am not commenting on situations where that is not the case.
I am making the claim that a real NIL collective paying a recruit to help with recruiting seems like a smart way to do it.
It's amazing how much Dabo stock has fallen in recent years. He was basically seen as the near guaranteed next in line to follow Saban, and his name hasn't come up once in this thread.
He is a terrible game day coach and has repeatedly shown his team is unlikely to win big games.
He is very good at recruiting and leading a successful program. He is also guaranteed to make 2-3 game day decisions a year that will make you question everything. That being said, him coaching at UA...
Alabama missing a 12 team playoff would be a pretty big let down. They do finally play uga in the regular season and get both Tenn and OU on the road. Could be an interesting season but given sec bias I’d still think Bama has a chance at 12 team with 9-3 record.
Because it is possible that in the future the ACC could have three 10+ win teams at the end of the season due to how scheduling works. It is very important that a 10-2 ACC team was looked as lesser than a 9-3 team going into championship weekend.
