One more time, what scheme and when has Tech brought in hoards of 4-5 star skill players? Do you want to compete against the Clemsons, GAs, Bamas etc for the same 4-5 stars players they're after?
Snarky to media, in certain cases yes he is. But to recruits? I highly doubt it. Having talked to him on several occasions he is witty, has a wonderful sense of humor and very engaging. IMO this is who he is and what the recruits and families see. I keep hearing the offense is a hindrance...
PJ a roll of the dice? Not in my opinion, we know the highs and lows with him. Can't say the same about anyone else. Again I'm not here to try and defend PJ, not my job and he doesn't need me to.

One with a defined persona whether it's offensive or defensive minded, ethical, stable, solid record as a HC or FBS top assistant. Not necessarily a rah rah type but more of a pro, nose for detail type.
Honestly I don't know. I can think of one or two but they are set where they are and I don't see them leaving. Just one example of who I would love to have is Gary Patterson.
Not upset, frustrated with what I perceive is folks not recognizing just what a roll of the dice is hiring a new coach is whether it's this year or whenever the end of PJ's tenure is. I can't think of another program that is harder to find the right coach than Tech
Where did I say he was a good recruiter? Please don't try and put words in my mouth. A HC is limited to ONE in home visit with a recruit. Identifying, contacting, film review is all the area assistant coaches responsibility. They do run any request for an offer by PJ for his okay but recruiting...
You do understand that the assistant coaches do the VAST majority of recruiting don't you? The head coach is limited to ONE in home visit with a recruit. Why do you think PJ is not a good recruiter?
You think he's forgotten how to coach? Like I said I'm not here to defend PJ. I'll go back to what I said, it ain't going to be as easy as a lot of folks think to bring in the right hire. Do you find fault with that comment?
How many strawman arguments do you want to throw out there? Never mind you aren't interested in an honest discussion, you're another that is pi**ed off and it all PJ's fault. Go ahead and fire him, he'll enjoy it all the way to the bank and leave Tech with far from enough money to hire a Go...
When Tech matches or exceed the financial commitment to the program those two school have made then talk to me. That has zero to do with who the coach is it has to do with finding them and getting them to the program. Do you not grasp just how far behind Tech is?
