Pastner should deepen the rotation if the talent is there. Yes there would be a numbers crunch but other teams are able to successfully play more guys and make it work and in the case of FSU for example not see large numbers of transfers. Playing more people gets the youngsters prepared for life...
I don't know if any of them would get an invite I'd assume that Moses and Devoe are the most likely to but I don't think that an invite would mean that they are gone. Plenty of players have gone there and that's been what led to them going back to school. For me if they get invited I'd think...
So if Larry Brown has never stayed anywhere more than 6 years then him being somewhere 4 or 5 years is a long time for him not a short tenure. He has plenty of short tenures including his time at UCLA.
The talent gap is way bigger in women's basketball. The very top recruits year after year typically go to a select number of schools and unlike men's basketball there aren't one and dones.
For instance South Carolina has 1 senior, 6 underclassmen(freshmen & sophomores) and has 4 Top 20 recruits...
Michael Porter Jr. and Moses may be similar in stature but their games are vastly different. Porter Jr. is a guy who was a major recruit and prospect mainly because of what he could do as a iso player and the fact that he was very good outside shooter particularly at his size. Porter is a small...
Listening to the Eye on College Basketball podcast Gary Parrish mentioned CJP as a down the list( you don't get one your top guys) type candidate for the Texas job
As a fellow Bulls fan I cannot disagree. Every year I give him the benefit of the doubt and every year he gets hurt and doesn't exactly shine when he isn't hurt.
I'm extremely proud of this team. This was a weird, trying season and yet this was the most fun Tech team that I've seen in quite a while. I'm really interested in seeing what happens with the guys on this team moving forward. Hope to see several of the seniors in the league in the not so...
Leitao had already set DePaul up with 3 recruits including Will Bynum's nephew and a guy who was considering Tech. 2 3 stars and a 4 star. DePaul has had some talent recently. Leitao did nothing with it.
Love what he's become but a lottery pick isn't likely and especially not if he comes back. Fair or not the NBA uses prospect's ages against them.
Besides he cant play much better than he has been recently
Sam Vecenie who does a lot of NBA draft stuff for The Athletic did his NBA draft board of the Top 100 prospects. Actually more like top 118 prospects. He had Moses at #64 currently which is big considering where Moses has come from. He's also ranked ahead of some notable people like Kofi...
In his 2 other games besides the 31 point outing he scored 6 points and 12 points with a total of 7 rebounds and 0 blocks in those 2 games. He did certain things well at Tech but he's not killing it at Utah Valley either thus far.
The team did get away from using the 5 at the top of the key to facilitate offense and went to more of a PG oriented system with lots of picks. Problem is, he won't be an effective roll man with bad hands and we all saw a lot of situations where the guards would penetrate too deep into traffic...
