I kept hoping they would put Gapare on Blackshear as he was just muscling Reeves. Blackshear isn’t a typical guard but they isolated him and made it work. We do need to come up with a way to double a hot guard and make somebody else beat us

Against TCU they ran a 5 out set without a ball screen. Lot of downscreen and circle cut action. Not a lot of post action

If you watched him last night he was not nearly as stoned faced as he has been in prior games. No outbursts like Martin but his face had at least as much expression as Martin otherwise. Me thinks he was having the same reaction to the number of turnovers as the rest of us were. :cool:

I doubt there is enough action on either UMass or GT basketball to require the bookies to try to balance the betting. The lines simply relate to the models Vegas has which my understanding are similar to KenPom. So the models say we’re a slight underdog on a neutral court. Seems about right to me

The difference between their screening and our screening was to me one of the biggest differences in the game. Theirs as you say were solid screens that not only made us go under the screen or switch but also led to a lot of IMHO overhelping from the wings to stop penetration leading to open...

Penn State Overview Here is an overview of PSU written preseason. Totally new team with a new coach. 95% of last year's production gone. Built totally through the portal. Couple of UNC projects providing depth. If we are going to move up this year this is the kind of game we need to win.

PSU is 5-5 with 4 unimpressive wins and a comeback win over Ohio State in their last game and a loss to MD in OT before that. So they seem to be playing better by the recent games. Can't find the line with a quick look. May be out there already but looks like a winnable game.
