My way too early, possibly problematic look at potential GT Hoops roster management

I feel more confident with the current coach preparing his team to start a season than the previous coach whose teams were consistently unprepared to start the season.

NIL Settlement with NCAA this week - $3B in back payments

This article is more concise. All of the back payments come from the NCAA with $1.6B of it resulting in reduced payments from the NCAA to the schools. I don't like to speculate but the only thing that makes much sense to me is to divide the figure by the number of NCAAT units for an even...

NIL Settlement with NCAA this week - $3B in back payments

From what I have read elsewhere I believe the article is wrong.

NIL Settlement with NCAA this week - $3B in back payments

I believe the correct split is 60% from the NCAA and 40% from the power conferences. The settlement isn't finalized last I knew so it could change.

I find irony that the original case (House) was filed by a swimmer and a WBB player.

Who is more likely to be drafted: Kelly or Ndongo?

If you think I post in phrases you don't read what I write. Your cliches and tired, weak points based upon speculation are the sign of a weak person. "Jumped the shark". LOL.

Who is more likely to be drafted: Kelly or Ndongo?

Not all fans are stupid. I never said that. You have concocted another narrative. Your Miles Kelly narrative seems to be that Kelly is a drama queen who causes trouble. If you wrote more concisely I would have a better idea.

Who is more likely to be drafted: Kelly or Ndongo?

A narrative is a story. You have concocted a story. More words doesn't make the story better.

Kelly is definitely less likely to return to GT now.

My way too early, possibly problematic look at potential GT Hoops roster management

I wonder if some of you have watched an actual basketball game in the last 10 years.

True. I think that is about to change. I like what I see so far.

My way too early, possibly problematic look at potential GT Hoops roster management

Agreed. There is a lot of '80s basketball mentality on here. I frequently expect to see someone distraught about the lack of a low post defender when no one uses a low post in their offense anymore. Brian Gregory must have been more popular than I realized.

That's the narrative about AAU. I don't know if there is much to it. I know a lot of people who have kids play AAU ball and never heard anything like it from them. The one thing it really changed is how colleges scout players.

My way too early, possibly problematic look at potential GT Hoops roster management

I still like college basketball but it isn't as good as it was and the reason is less experience at the collegiate level. I don't think this is an unusual or controversial take. Since we're already off topic by quite a bit, it used to be quite popular to blame AAU basketball for all kinds of...

Right. I have no argument about today's players being "better" or not in whatever way because I just don't care. I don't find it relevant to anything. As a college basketball fan, just picking a couple of random guys, would you rather have Anthony Edwards play for you one year or Travis Best...
