If I'm Batt, I don't breath a word of anything but party line in that enviroment. We could be in deep discussions with another conference and if he's smart he says exactly what you read there. Don't say ANYTHING, speak quietly behind the scenes, and be prepared for whatever happens.... So...

So, we definitely found out today why we need better pitching. Giving up a 6-1 lead sucks.

To be honest, college basketball has become the semi-pro sport everyone on here says they detest. Yet I’ll bet if we have a good team next year, fans will pack the Thrillerdome.

Now, I am curious as to how you know this. Attendance figures announced are ALWAYS tickets sold, NOT actual fannies in the seats. I have been to SEC venues in LSU and Auburn where there are TONS of empty seats if they are playing cupcakes and have heard this is true at UGa as well...

I think just about EVERY college has fan attendance problems.....go to an SEC OOC game against Northwestern Teacher's State College and join the thousands of empty seats (although they are paid for seats).

I do find myself drifting in this direction. Even as I also find myself tending towards the argument that if we want to remain relevant we need to play like the big boys play. Yeah, mercenary. Yeah, I know...contradictory. I guess I don't know what I really want. Or rather, I don't know the...
