Yep. Play not to lose, which can create mediocre results unless you completely outclass your opponent. Hence our lopsided wins over poor opponents and our inexplicable losses to teams we should have beaten.

Exactly. My daughter graduated with honors with three degrees so she proved to be trainable. But she also became a liaison with HBCUs in the southeast and her degree helped in making connections. She was good at creating wins for her company and for her clients. Quickly got offers and...
