  1. Imagine Getting Dogwalked by a........

After the second scrimmage in Camp Key talked about the RBs. He quickly mentioned Haynes but had lots of praise for Carrie and Alexander running hard inside. Key mentioned no other RB. He mentioned Alexander's speed and the fact that he was the best ST player as a freshman in 2023. I was not...
  2. Nacari Ashley no longer on roster

Roster now missing RFr LB Nacari Ashley
  3. Depth Chart

I too was surprised but Gibbs still has a valuable stake in the defense. Depth at safety is thin and depth at CB is almost as thin. Both Shelley and Gibbs would play a key role in player movements if we had injury issues at those positions. I would expext one or two player tweaks after game one...
  4. Depth Chart

Taylor is good enough to be on a depth chart but no room this week. He will likely play some after the Ireland dust settles and some bumps and bruises occur on some players. Same for Hamilton at LB and Dickins at RB and Beetham at TE and Dowdell at CB and Adams at DL. Except for Safety we now...
  5. Brent Seither Done For The Year

We are very deep in blocking TE's. Seither and Harpring (Fr) were our faster receiving TEs and Boyd is a quality receiver with size and speed. Boyd has been practicing and playing some TE over the past year +. Perfect fit for our "emergency" needs. That is why our coaches constantly talk about...

In a recent interview Singleton was asked about getting jammed at the line. His reply was something like "yeah they have tried it but with my speed they won't do that no more". Jamming a smaller guy may be tempting but if he can seriously out run you it is probably not so much of a concern...
  7. Depth Chart

To me the real surprise is Chandler at CB who jumped Dowdell RFr and Franklin Fr from the Spring Game (both played well) and also jumped fellow June arrivee and 4 star Fr Stevenson. This could be good news down the road. This also delisted Shelley as a CB on this depth chart. Chandler must have...
  8. FSU game thread

Like many of you I have been following the roster and eventual depth chart quite close. I hit on Alexander, Stockton, and Butler. I got the OL but not the positions of Riggs and Galloway. I was surprised by Shelley at N and not CB (he still may really be both). I missed the CB N Chandler as I...
  9. FSU game thread

If we win it will be turnovers and DL depth. We have the depth advantage to run the ball in the second half as FSU 's DL depth is a question. Turnovers are anybody's guess. I doubt we outshine FSU in the first half.
  10. Game 1 Media #FSUvsGT

Based on recent coach's remarks Boyd has been practicing some TE last season and this season. He should have been a TE all along. He can already run and catch. He needs to learn the TE playbook (probably already has) and the pre-snap motions and formations. No reason why he cannot learn to be an...
  11. Favorite Underrated Tech Players

Dontae Smith and Tobias Oliver. Under rated and under utilized and under appreciated. Collins victims.
  12. FSU game thread

These guys are talking about the 2023 GT team but watching and analyzing the 2022 team in an attempt to predict how our offense will attack FSU. What they are watching is pre-OC Faulkner, pre-H King, pre-J Haynes, and pre-Singleton/Blacburn/Lane in a game led by our 3rd string QB. What a major...
  13. Depth Chart

Agree on Harris and Harpring. I believe MacKenny is primary backup to LT and RG. I have not seen enough of Gore to believe he is ahead of Lockett and Scott and Van. If he is we are in great shape at DT.
  14. FSU game thread

This was the 2022 GT team, QB Gibson. These guys do even know that 15 is Gibson and not H King. They earlier called 17 Pyron on the outside TD run. This is a major mistake by these FS guys. It is a good thing thse guys are not coaches.
  15. Depth Chart

Roster lists Harpring at 6-3 225.
  16. Depth Chart

According to Key's press talk Harpring in the second scrimmage caught 4 passes and one TD. He is still learning the playbook and pre-snap formations and motion. Once the ball is snapped he is at home running and catching very effectively. Freshmanitis at this point but very promising going forward..
  17. You’re the HC: In percentages how would you divide NIL Money Pool by position group to equal 100%?

In an ideal situation every roster player gets the same NIL (and applies to all schools). After all it is a TEAM. I can be convenienced that there is no possibility of "ideal situation". But what we have now is chaos.
  18. Depth Chart

I believe this is what happened at LT. Robinson came back late in the year and got his LT spot back from MacKenny, I believe about the last two games and the Bowl. MacKenny took over in the Louisville game when Robinson seem to be struggling with the Edge quickness of the Louisville defender...
  19. Depth Chart

Excellent list. Maybe Adams DT in rotation.
  20. Depth Chart

I have no real info but.... Butler and Hamilton played well in the Spring and Tatum with the most experience looms. Efford is a lock to start. I hope Lightsey grows into a start but I doubt he is the other starter on the 24th.
