Those plays certainly didn't help but if you are playing an awful team and you find yourself down by 11 in the 4th quarter then you can't really blame it all on two plays. You aren't playing all that well. They have plenty of plays they would like back as well.

We played one of the worst teams in the P5 this weekend and they turned the ball over 4 times and missed a FG and we won by 1. For a good portion of the game it looked like they might beat us handily. Im happy for the win but that's not really a give the interim coach the full time job performance.
  3. Pyron

He's good. Really good. Here's hoping he balls out the next two games and then sits out the UGA game with a strained toenail or something.
  4. ACC Discussion 2022

Miami's QB left the game again in the 1st quarter with an injury. Their backups are downright awful. If Van Dyke can't go then should beat them. They go from being a mediocre team to a pretty bad team with him out.

While im obviously not a fan of Collins, I will defend him a bit here. Our best defensive performance of the season was against UCF. The game that got Collins fired. He was a part of that so im not sure he was really holding the defense back that much. I think it was going to improve either way...

Really gutsy performance by Pyron. Its fun to watch him play.

When you say: You are basically saying that if we hire a G5 coach then we will choose who his assistants are. Why would a new coach need "help"?
  8. HC Candidate/Rumors/Info Thread

Can't say im a huge fan of hiring a coach and telling him who his assistants will be. I don't know why any coach would even consider that to be honest. If you have that much of a lack of faith in his ability to build a staff then don't hire him. Otherwise, give him the keys and let him make his...

Auburn Basketball/Football is literally the second thing in his twitter bio.
  10. Conference Realignment

The problem is, now the Big 12 has passed us in revenue as well and they get to renegotiate in 6 years to push that difference even further. The Pac 12 commissioner is telling members to expect 35-40 million baseline in their new contracts. We will see if that pans out but that would put them...
  11. Conference Realignment

Unless the ACC willingly amends its own bylaws then 8 is number needed. That 8 might also include ND. That part is a little hazy. Getting 7 full time members and ND would not be impossible. And yes, I do think a collection of teams like Clemson, Miami, FSU, UNC, NC State, GT, and VT + ND could...

"By the members entitled to vote thereon, if any, by two-thirds of the votes cast or a majority of the votes entitled to be cast on the plan of dissolution, whichever is less." A majority in this case would be lower than two thirds of the votes cast assuming all 15 members cast a vote.
  13. Conference Realignment

If you are going to post it then post the whole thing, not just want you want to be true.
  14. Conference Realignment

God, this really got you riled up for some reason didn't it? Answer this. Why do North Carolina state laws on dissolution of non profit organizations not apply to the ACC, a North Carolina non profit organization that did not define any guidelines for dissolution?
  15. Conference Realignment

Did you consult with some lawyers when you decided that the dissolution of the conference required an amendment to the bylaws?
  16. Conference Realignment

    Troll troll troll your boat.
  17. Conference Realignment

This assumes that the absence of language in the bylaws guiding dissolution requires a revote and doesn't follow normal North Carolina state law on dissolution of non profits. There are plenty of legal discussions on this matter out there.
  18. Conference Realignment

The GOR has no bearing on dissolution of the conference. That is governed by ACC member bylaws. If members of the ACC vote to dissolve the conference, then the GOR doesn't exist anymore. Everything I have read is that this vote would require a simple majority to pass. AKA 8 teams. If that is...
