  1. What’s Key’s biggest asset as a HC to this point?

There really is no argument that we didn't get lucky in the Miami game. It's pretty ridiculous to argue otherwise. That decision that had nothing to do with Key or our program at all enabled two more wins on our record. Last year we beat UNC because a future NFL wide receiver that only drops...
  2. What’s Key’s biggest asset as a HC to this point?

That basically argues that luck doesn't exist in football. Can't say that I agree with that. You are right though. Nothing wrong with being lucky.
  3. What’s Key’s biggest asset as a HC to this point?

Without luck we go 5-7 this year and miss a bowl game. Without luck he likely loses 2-3 more games last year. Not saying it's his only positive asset but it has probably been his biggest asset to this point.
  4. Conference Realignment

Alabama is ranked 125th in sacks allowed per game. While Michigan does have a great defense, the main cause of Alabama's sack problems is that Milroe holds the ball for far too long. I don't know how often Rodemaker would get sacked. That depends on alot of factors. I honestly don't think he...
  5. Conference Realignment

Tate Rodemaker against Florida with one week of prep: 43.8 QBR Jalen Milroe against Michigan after a season of playing: 45.1 QBR You must not think much of Milroe after Monday nights game either.
  6. Conference Realignment

So you think if UGA beats Alabama in the SEC championship but Carson Beck gets injured that UGA would have been left out of the playoffs?
  7. Conference Realignment

Would a two loss ACC non champion get in over a two loss Ole Miss team that lost to Bama and UGA?
  8. Conference Realignment

With the growing size of the Big 10 and the SEC and the perception that they are the only conferences that matter, they are going to get all of the at large spots and we are going to see a bunch of rematches. This year UGA would have played Ole Miss again. How exciting, a rematch of a 35 point...
  9. 2023 Coaching Carousel

The idea that the Falcons would throw a massive amount of money at a college coach who didn't play in the NFL and only coached there for one year as an assistant is hilarious.
  10. Conference Realignment

I actually think Rodemaker with a month to prepare as the #1 guy, and with plenty of time to tailor the offense to his strengths probably would have done a decent job. People forget that Milroe played terrible to start the season and got benched at one point. Guys can improve.
  11. Conference Realignment

The FSU backup didn't play against Louisville and im not quite sure he would have done worse than Milroe did against UM. Meanwhile FSU has a better defense than Bama. Personally, I think it would have been a really close game, especially if UM's special teams were the same level of special.
  12. Conference Realignment

If Oregon played Washington again tomorrow they would be favored over them for the third time and would likely lose for the third time. That's how stupid the eye test is.
  13. Conference Realignment

Yep, the two 1 loss teams that magically jumped FSU in the rankings unsurprisingly lost just like they did in the regular season. Maybe winning actual games should be given greater consideration in the future.
  14. Conference Realignment

Michigan honestly didn't play very well overall. Pretty good on defense, mediocre on offense, and an absolute disaster on special teams. Im not sure they can beat Washington or Texas if they don't clean up the mistakes. Good gritty win for them though.
  15. ACC Bowl Action

I will say that reading everyone's virtue signaling (not just here but everywhere) about FSU's culture is kind of ridiculous. Ohio State got pummeled because players didn't play. So did UNC. Oregon St looked like a shell of their former selves. Clemson nearly lost a game they should have won...
  16. ACC Bowl Action

Its hard to judge anything in the second half when the game is already a blowout. On one side you have excited guys who rarely play getting a chance in a stress free winning environment. On the other side you have a completely dejected team that is just trying to run the clock out. Remember the...
  17. ACC Bowl Action

If Ole Miss had only lost to UGA in the regular season and then beat UGA in the SEC championship then yes, I think they easily get in over FSU. Your point about the relative brand power of the teams has some validity though. Unfortunately, the SEC and Big 10 are now loaded with powerful brands...
  18. ACC Bowl Action

Strongly disagree. With the SEC and Big 10 expansion, everything is setup for that. 1 loss ACC non champions will be passed over for 2-3 loss SEC/Big 10 non champions, which there will be plenty of with the size of those conferences now. Currently they are still taking the top 6 conference...
  19. ACC Bowl Action

There is no hole to dig out of is my point. The perception is stone now. Nothing is going to change it. If we go 12-0 next year and lose the ACC championship by 1 point to a 12-0 Clemson team, we are not making the playoffs, even after beating Notre Dame, FSU, and UGA. That's the reality of the...
