A short pass is almost no different than a jet sweep...with a lot more risk. You need to pass deep to keep the safeties back so your runs go for more than 3 yards. Short passes do not achieve that. You're not understanding the synergy of why we throw deep from time to time. If i'm a DC, none of...
From the replay it looked like the ball crossed the plane. That was from my view of the scoreboard. I thought he was in. Maybe he was down, but the ball crossed the plane.
Mediocre? No...it was poor. 50% against an FCS opponent? Poor. Passes into tight coverage, passes way overthrown, etc. It wasn't like their DBs were just lights out. TM was making bad throws. He has to reach back rainbow anything over 30 yards. It's disappointing. You want to see a quick release...
He’s got a weak arm. He overthrows routes trying to get zip on the ball. I don’t know what anyone expects at this point. He’s the worse passing qb we’ve had since Tevin. Nesbit had a better arm but was equally or worse accurate. Josh had a nice receiver to throw it up to, though. Taquan is never...
This is effectively a dime package. If we're playing a non-spread team, i think we switch to a more traditional 3-4 with bigger lineman. We can always sub-in a DL if they're just running it down our throats. Most OL aren't that athletic, so i like this as our base package.
Just reading between the lines here - or perhaps I’m out of touch and/or coach is getting “soft” - but could the 6pm classes be a permission-based privilege sort of thing for players that CPJ trusts? Will and TM are seniors too.
I think there’s a bit more to this story coming out now than just...
The reason you have that rule in a big4 firm is because you provide attest services to their audits. Personal holdings in attest clients are expressly forbidden and its not a stupid rule, as you would materially benefit from inflated earning and the like. 3 strikes and your out weed policies are...
Its rather showing that you assume that I haven't entered the professional world. I'm a few months from 30 and I'm quite successful in my field. My point is that we shouldn't be making policies based on "that's how it's been" rather than making a rational evaluation of the pros and cons and...
We should change the policy. Counseling rather than removal from the team is a much better approach. You're risking someone's chance at a million dollar career over a substance that more than half the country thinks should be legal. The policy is stupid, and does not benefit anyone - not the...
We’ll just have to disagree on this. The DB wasn’t going to be there in time if the ball got there faster. He was in a dead sprint to cover the jailbreak. He wasn’t gonna flip around and swat. He was 8+ yards off QS when he broke into coverage. No way he does anything other than tackle the...
To me, an intermediate pass is 15-25 yards. Depends on your definition. Long is more 30+ yards. These are not hard and fast definitions. We’ll have to disagree on those.
My entire point is that there’s a hole here and and I hope he worked on it.
The main issue last year is that I kept seeing...
It was third and 12, and we’ve already been talking about it as being the best example of his passing. It was also horrid coverage decision by Tennessee. Good throw though. Note that due to the underneath coverage, that is not a frozen rope. It’s a pick six if throws a bolt. That is a touch...
