Louisville's new DC will be Brian Brown who was DC under Scott Satterfield this season at Appalachian State. I haven't seen Coach Woody on lists of possible replacement head coaches at Appalachian State. Coach Woody may e hanging in limbo for a while.
It sounds like Coach Collins tries to do what Howard Schnellenberger did at Miami from 1979-1983. Which is to try to build up excitement about the football program in the local community.
