The ACC GOR which extends to 2036 does not apply to ND football media rights since they are not a member. It only applies to other sports which are members of the ACC. ND's new contract with NBC extends ND football media rights to NBC until 2029.

My take on Thacker is that he is a decent recruiter but too soft to be an on-field coach, at least in a P5 conference. But wouldn't mind seeing him reuniting with his buddy Scooter at UNC. :)
