Actually this is about what I was hoping we would be after our first 2 conference series, though I got caught up in the way we played against NC State. I see hope in our pitching to continue its progression and we becoming a tough out for any team later in the season.

I went 1 last week because I didn't think our pitching was yet up to ACC speed. This week I went with 2 since I feel much better about our pitching and this team seems to play up to our competition, with UGA being an outlier due to conditions.

I'm still out of the country and we are undefeated since i left last Friday. I definitely will not come back until we lose at least a game or two.

I am OOTC and really surprised and glad to see these 2 wins over a ranked team. These players on this team seem to have a higher baseball IQ than recent teams, as well as over all talent. We keep this up, us fickled fans will be demanding a contract extension for CDH. 🤣 PS: Just kidding. Kudos...

I was proud of the way this team came back with relentless effort on both sides of the ball. The late wide open 3 point miss and the 2 turnovers killed our chances for the win but still impressed with the effort. Looking forward to next season with the new talent being added.

My favorite on this team for the way he handled himself through thick and thin. He was money late in the games and clutch from top of the key with his 3's. I also think he played an important role in George's development over the season, a true team player.

Was really glad we pulled this game out but it does nothing to relieve my concerns about how we match up with quality opponents. Youngstown pitching is last in D1 with a 12+ ERA and next to last with a K/BB of 0.5+ according to ESPN. And I don't know what their team BA is but it can't be good...

No positives in this game. I bet less than 10 persons stayed past the 6th inning, other than friends and family. Or maybe including friends and family.

I agree, but then they shouldn't call the winner the national champion. Lets call it what it really is: It is a playoff sold to football fans as a playoff to determine a national champion and corrupted by big money to provide the most entertaining and financially rewarding matchups as possible.

^^^^^ The point of the playoffs is to determine the best team in the nation and if you didn't win your conference, you most probably ain't deserving to be named the best team in the country. Two at large play-in teams seems enough to me.
