Collins talked a lot about process as well.

    Leo Blackburn: suffers knee injury

I doubt he'll ever reach his playing potential, unfortunately. Two ACL injuries is a lot to come back from. He seems to be another one of those guys that gets a lot of hype, but seems snakebit by injuries. Seems like we've had quite a few of those in recent memory (12 years or so). I hope he's...

Geoff Collins worst GT coach of all time

Very much agree with this. Paul Johnson was a good coach and would've still been a good coach without the triple option. In fact, I'd argue it hurt him more than it helped him once Monken and Bohannon were hired away (and Spencer fired for what was a minor infraction in retrospect).

    Spring Practice

I'm sure we're hitting NCAA maximums, but it doesn't really seem like a lot of practice time to me. Considering how impotent the NCAA has become, I'd be making every questionable attempt possible to increase the preparedness of our team. GT football identity should be tough and smart. Our...

General News about Key and his Staff

Paul's been more forthright in admitting his shortcomings and regrets than most of the posters who come running to defense. It's the past, though, and not much sense in dwelling in it.

I Know Im Beating a Dead Horse About TFG…

Seats were on a game to game basis until 2009 for students.

What's your game plan to beat UGA?

If you're going to that level of trouble, just go ahead and put arsenic in the entire campus water supply. ** ** I am neither condoning nor condemning such action with this statement.

I Know Im Beating a Dead Horse About TFG…

The only thing this thread is accomplishing for me is reminding me how bad Stansbury was at decision making and contract negotiations. I can forgive the initial hire and I can understand Geoff being bitter about how it all turned out, but I'll never forgive not parting ways before this past season.

He was always a UGA fan is my working theory.

Have you ever randomly met any GT athletes/coaches?

Funny story of a player's parents: Saw a couple wearing Scott Blair jerseys in Starkville when we were out there in 2009. Asked them if they were his parents and their response was a trepidatious "depends on the game" to which I responded "come on, he's got the best passer rating on the team."...

Have you ever randomly met any GT athletes/coaches?

I have also played golf with Wes, Paul, and Mike.... have WE played golf with each other? Dwyer and I were acquaintances from HS (we also played vs each other, I'm on his highlight reel as a dude who got ran over), so some of the guys on that squad would hang out at my place after games...

    Scarred of UGA

It's bad when the opponent's trash talk is basically an empathetic comment about our coach's inability to prepare the team for what the opponent is doing. It comes across like he was disappointed we weren't more of a test for them.

    Legacies

Utility scale renewables. I first noticed the trend when I was in design and consulting, though I'm in product development now. It's a very white collar job, but the fact is that our products do end up in the field and the recent Tech grads just don't seem to be able to grasp something actually...

    Legacies

Agreed. My personal gripe is some Tier 2 activities can be a lot less time consuming than those in Tier 4 a lot of times. Who is going to be a more well rounded individual: A - 4.4 GPA, 1500 SAT, debate club B - 4.4 GPA, 1500 SAT, football team I'm just lucky I chose to join the math team for...
