Unfortunately when you're 22-23 the NBA seems to look at guys as already being a finished product with very little upside. At that point the draft stock of that player as very little room to improve. Coming back and playing great won't change that for Jose unless he suddenly gets taller and/or...
Derrick Rose is a free agent. And at one point the Bucks gave Matthew Delladova a contract worth 9.5 million a year so they're not against having a scrappy, undersized defense first PG on the team. Most likely if Jose was to make a NBA roster initially it would be as a 3rd PG. Someone who can...
The chance of a 2 way may come down to what he does in Summer League. I would love to see him get drafted but the best thing about him not getting drafted is that he may get to pick his spot in terms of what team to play for and try to initially stick with.
If they have Summer League I definitely see him on a Summer League roster. And with Jose he's gonna look much better in a game than in a workout so maybe a team signs him at that point
Shouldn't have effected K and his team model for last few years since he's been relying on 1 and dones anyway. Then the occasional 1 and done guy who didn't meet expectations either stayed a 2nd year or left anyway. And he had some role players mixed in for good measure.
He put up numbers. We also witnessed his inability to create off the dribble for himself and be a guy who can get a bucket when necessary. How many times did we see him drive the ball into the defense, pick up his dribble and search around for a pass to bail him out of a bad situation that he...
At this moment Devoe is eligible to be drafted in the NBA draft same as Gani Lawal and Josh Okogie. Okogie ultimately stayed in and Lawal came back to Tech but there's no difference between them and Devoe as far as being draft eligible as an underclassmen.
Teams arrogantly feel not only like there's more likely physically development from a 19 year as opposed to a 23 year old but also that the young player has more room to be molded and developed skillwise. Basically a college senior is who he's going to be as a basketball player. I don't agree...
It's one of the top jobs in college basketball. But just like the UCLA job the expectations or very, very high. Conference titles are cool but they want deep tournament runs and national titles
