Hurley has disappointed at ASU. They've had their moments but nothing consistent including upsetting Kansas, going undefeated and becoming ranked only for the bottom to fall out during the conference season which happened more than once since Hurley has been there.
His former assistant,Nate Oats...
Any chance that this in part was a response to Ole Miss having talked to Chris Beard already? Maybe Batts wanted to talk to and do his due diligence on the possibility of hiring Beard before he took another job. And of course if that didn't look like it would work out then he may have a...
At Memphis he kept the dribble drive offense that Coach Cal had run there. And it fit their personnel. Why he never tried to run most of that stuff here in the last couple of seasons baffles me. Our guys aren't necessarily as athletic as those guys but it would have fit this team's skillset...
I guess both are true. They're averaging 81 points and 30 3 point attempts a game which is just under half of their field goal attempts a game. They're also outrebounding opponents and clearing 14 offensive rebounds a game.
It'd be best for Tech if College of Charleston doesn't make a run in the...
Not at all. The reason for this frustration is the fact that there is obvious talent on this team. Gregory relied on a bunch of rentals that didn't move the needle anywhere close to enough. This team could be good next year with the right coach. The reason to get rid of Pastner is his inability...
What up and comers? Brian Gregory who the fanbase at Dayton wanted gone when he was hired here? Pastner who the fanbase at Memphis wanted gone when he was hired here? Paul Hewitt was an up and comer and that worked for awhile so was Bobby Cremins when Tech hired him.
Besides look at Florida and...
In a 7 game series it gets closer because of the 04 squad's depth. Coach Cremins would have Lethal Weapon 3 playing the entire game and in a series that would hurt them.
So are you asking about low key recruits that produced above their ranking or players who just didn't get their credit?
Either way for now I'd say Eddie Elisma, Alvin Jones Jr and Clarence Moore
God Shammgod was a McDonald's All American and good college player who made it to the league. Travis Best did have a better career but Travis Best also isn't a)an NYC legend so he's disqualified from this. Also Shammgod is relevant to young hoopers because of the move bearing his name.
And his energy is ridiculous and to get a guy with his energy coming off the bench in the league he'll have a role. Would love to see what Pop would do with him Hell if he turns out to have a significant wingspan Toronto may also look his way.
