I agree. But the implication that it is better to have someone who has failed than succeeded. I highly doubt that what the investor meant (having also dealt with them.) More likely they meant they would rather hire someone who has failed smartly than someone who has never tried. That I agree...

The way I see it is that nothing we've seen from this staff ensures better performance, but without what we've seen from them the desired better performance is very unlikely. I'll take what I can get!
